I'm positively THRILLED to announce that after literal years, I've finally launched into the world of audio. It will likely be a rather gradual process (audiobook production is expensive!), but it feels great to be getting started.
Dakiti has entered production and is being narrated by the talented Carly Landry. It's been incredibly fun (and admittedly kind of mind-boggling) to listen to all the auditions throughout the past couple of weeks and hear my characters brought to life by other people's voices.
I keep finding myself wishing I could remember every single person who has asked me over the years if/when my books would be available in audio, because the number has been relatively significant...but most of the time it's been in passing. A guy asked at my little comic con a couple of weeks ago, and that's kind of what spurred me to start looking into it again.
So, if you're reading this and you've been waiting for audio, this is good news for you! If you know of anyone else who's an audiobook aficionado and might enjoy this series, feel free to pass the word along. I plan on making the books available widely at Audible and across numerous other retailers, as well as selling them directly. I'll make another announcement when there's a set release date, but for now, you can expect the book to be ready by mid-October.
